About me

My name is James (Mkaydood) I am an illustrator that, like many, trying to tell their story to the world. I mostly draw anime related or game related illustration as I connect to those subject the most and it make me happy when I draw them.

I started drawing since I was little but stopped for a few years when I was in high school because there's isn't much support from anyone close to me so I just put it into a box. However, a few years later,  I was in a dark place and decided to just screw everything and I decided to stand up for myself more for what makes me happy and me, and that is drawing.

 

Not going to lie, it is hard to start after  stopping a few years and learning to draw digitally from watching live streams of people drawing on Youtube/Twitch, buying artbooks and tutorials. I enjoy the process, it can be frustrating or demotivating sometimes when you see someone else work that are just out of this world, but that is what keep pushing me forward because one day, one of my goal is to produce an art book that people would fall in love with. I am also learning animating at the moment to make my story more "alive".
